The programme is completed by preparing and defending the graduation paper, and the students can also take state graduation exams if they wish to continue their education in higher education institutions.

Music schools

Music schools are attended by students with pronounced music skills. The objective of the music education programme is to enrich the society with music by educating professional instrumentalists of different profiles and occupations.

  • promote music with the help of public activities;
  • promote music culture in the surrounding area.  

The music education programme is carried out in accordance with the music school curriculum in the duration of four years.

Students enrolled in secondary music schools can attend only the music school for the profession of an instrumentalist or can attend another (four-year) secondary school at the same time. If the student only attends the music school, the programme is completed by preparing and defending the graduation work, and they can also take state graduation exams if they wish to continue their education in higher education institutions. The largest number of students attend the music school and grammar school at the same time.

Dance schools

Dance schools are attended by students with pronounced dance skills. The dance education is an art education programme that combines physical, emotional and intellectual competences of students. During the education programme, students develop the artistic personality with a competence to express feelings through movement.

The objective of secondary dance schools is to develop the body as a means of dance expression, which includes the development of motor, affective and cognitive skills.

The dance education programme is carried out in accordance with the dance school curriculum in the duration of four years.
