Registering changes
In order to register changes, it is necessary to submit an application for the entry of changes in the Register of Associations of the Republic of Croatia
A person authorised to represent the association must submit an application to the competent administrative authority for the entry of changes in the Register of Associations related to the following:- statute
- name
- objectives and activities
- registered office and registered office address
- election of persons authorised to represent the association, regardless of whether they are the same persons from the previous term
- election and removal of a liquidator
- dissolution of the association.
- application for the entry of changes in the Register of Associations of the Republic of Croatia
- decision on the change
- record of the work of the body of the association responsible under the statute for making the decision on the basis of which the association seeks to enter a change in the Register of Associations
- new statute or amendments to the statute (if the subject of the entry was a change regarding the statute)
- a copy of the ID card or passport of persons authorised to represent the association, or the liquidator (if the subject of the entry was a change related to persons authorised for representation)
- certified statements by authorised representatives or liquidators of the absence of an obstacle referred to in Article 19 (2) and (3). Of the Association Act.
Applications for entry in the Register of Associations as well as applications for the entry of changes in the Register of Associations must be submitted in two identical copies.
The application can also be submitted by filling in an electronic form available on the website of the Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation
Entering changes in the Register of Associations
The competent administrative authority issues a decision on the entry of changes in the Register of Associations. Along with the decision, the association will be provided with a copy of the certified new statute or amendments to the statute if the subject of the entry was a change regarding the statute.
The association is not permitted to use data arising from changes in legal transactions, nor is it permitted to act in accordance with changes in its activities before their entry in the Register of Associations and the issuance of the decision of the competent administrative authority.
Registering changes in the Register of Non-Profit Organisations
A person authorised to represent the association is required to inform the Ministry of Finance about the changes within seven working days after receiving the decision on the entry of changes in the Register of Associations using the Change in the Register of Non-Profit Organisations Form in order to change the data in the Register of Non-Profit Organisations as well. The RNO-P Form in electronic format can be found on the website of the Ministry of Finance.The following changes must be reported to the Ministry of Finance:

DATA ON PERSONS AUTHORISED FOR REPRESENTATION
- Full name
- Croatian Personal ID Number PIN (OIB).
DATA FOR THE DATABASE OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
- obligation of double-entry bookkeeping
- obligation of single-entry bookkeeping.
