New academic and professional titles and new study programmes

If you completed your studies before the implementation of the Bologna reform, your qualifications and your rights remain the same as they were before the reform

A simpler comparison of the diploma and qualification you obtained after completing the old study programme with the qualifications acquired in the Bologna process was made possible by the Act on Academic and Professional Titles and Academic Degree, which describes and associates in more detail the titles acquired upon the completion of pre-Bologna studies with the titles acquired upon the completion of Bologna studies.

If you have acquired the title after completing the pre-Bologna study programme, you have the right to request a certificate from the higher education institution you attended in which it will be clearly indicated what the previously acquired professional title corresponds to. Your higher education institution (or its legal successor) only determines the procedure and conditions under which you will receive this document. The new academic or professional title does not grant you any new rights.
