You can report any unauthorised intervention observed on a cultural good to the cultural heritage protection inspection

The cultural heritage protection inspection supervises the condition of cultural goods and the implementation of measures for their protection and preservation, the use and transactions of cultural goods, and the enforcement and implementation of provisions of the Act on the Protection and Preservation of Cultural Goods.

Report to the cultural heritage protection inspection

If you observe illegal activities on cultural goods, please report them to the conservatory department competent for the relevant county or the City Office for Protection of Cultural. Monuments and Nature for the City of Zagreb.

You may also report illegal activities on cultural goods to the Ministry of Culture and Media, Directorate for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, Service for Cultural Heritage Protection Inspection Activities

Required documents

When you are reporting illegal activities on a cultural good, the report should be accompanied by photo documentation and any other written documents with warnings and indications of illegal actions on that cultural good.
