Before commencing construction or reconstruction of a house

First check the purpose of the land plot in the spatial plan of your municipality or city

If you own a land plot or an existing building, first check what kind of construction or reconstruction is permitted, and whether it is permitted at all.

For more information on what is or isn’t construction-wise permitted in a specific area, or which permits you need for such purposes, contact the county or city administrative departments that are competent for construction and physical planning.

Written information on the purpose of space, and the conditions for the implementation of spatial interventions (in accordance with spatial plans on a specific area) can be obtained from the county or city administrative departments that are competent for construction and physical planning, or through the e-Permit system as a location information.

You can find a list of competent offices on the website of the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets.
