Obligations of volunteers

A volunteer is obliged to carry out volunteer work in accordance with professional regulations and ethical rules, and according to the instructions received from the volunteer organiser, but also to refuse volunteer work that is contrary to regulations or life-threatening

As a volunteer, you are obliged to:
  • carry out volunteer work in accordance with professional regulations and ethical rules, and according to the instructions received from the volunteer organiser
  • keep commercial or professional secrets and confidential and personal data about the volunteer organiser or the beneficiary of volunteering
  • refuse volunteer work that is contrary to regulations
  • respect the integrity, mission, goals and values of the volunteer organiser
  • cooperate with other volunteers and employees of the volunteer organiser to ensure quality transfer of knowledge and experience upon the end of volunteer work
  • when starting and finishing volunteer work, as well as during volunteer work, make sure that your actions do not cause damage to the volunteer organiser or the beneficiary of volunteering
  • carry out the instructions of the volunteer organiser, except for the instructions related to volunteering which are:
    • dangerous to the life and health of volunteers or other persons
    • morally unacceptable to you
    • contrary to the volunteering contract.
