Self-employment aid

The Ministry of Croatian Veterans publishes public calls for self-employment aid

Self-employment aid is intended for unemployed persons with the following status:

• Croatian veteran  
• child of a deceased or missing Croatian veteran
• child of a military volunteer 
• child of a disabled Croatian Homeland War veteran.

You can receive self-employment aid in the amount of up to 12.000 EUR, if you intend to start a business, a company, a simple company or a family farm. You do not need to return the funds spent for the purpose they were provided.

You may use this measure only once, and the expected employment period of the beneficiary is at least 12 months, during which you are required to pay pension insurance contributions.

Applications are received only after the announcement of the public call. Requirements, a list of documentation to be enclosed and the necessary forms will be available on the website of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans while the public call is open at Current public calls.
