Payment of costs for accommodation in a student dormitory

Student dormitory accommodation costs for a child or a young adult, a high school student with a lower income who is not a member of a household which is a beneficiary of the guaranteed minimum allowance right, are covered by the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy

The costs of accommodation in the student dormitory shall be paid by the Ministry in accordance with the provisions of the agreement on accommodation of students in the student dormitory to a child or a young adult, a secondary school student, if:

• is in a weaker financial situation and is not a member of the household that is the beneficiary of the guaranteed minimum benefit
• is placed in a foster family and attends a school outside the place of residence of the foster family.
