Supply of electricity

You are entitled to contest the amounts of monthly bills (payments on account) for the estimated electricity consumption within 15 days from their issuance

With respect to the service provider, you are entitled to:
  • File a complaint against the supplier's work within 30 days from the date on which the cause for the complaint arose
  • Change suppliers free of charge
  • Request a control inspection of the metering equipment if you suspect that it is not measuring the electricity; that is, the power, properly
  • Compensation for the damage suffered (from the transmission system operator or the distribution system operator) in case of damage to the electrical infrastructure and the customer’s installations caused deliberately or by gross negligence of the transmission system operator or the distribution system operator
  • Be present while work is being done at your measurement point and authorise all such work. 

Contesting monthly bills (payments on account)

You are entitled to contest the amount of monthly bills (payments on account) for the estimated electricity consumption within 15 days from their issuance. If you fail to submit a written application to the supplier within that period, you are obliged to pay the delivered monthly bills.

Service quality

As a customer, you are entitled to the voltage quality prescribed by regulations.
In case of damage to the electrical infrastructure and the customer’s installations caused deliberately or by gross negligence of the transmission system operator or the distribution system operator, the transmission system operator or the distribution system operator is obliged to provide the customer with compensation for the damage.
