Streamlined Log-in Process for e-Citizens Portal

Access the Selected Service in Fewer Steps

We are delighted to announce that a streamlined version of log-in to e-Citizens portal, will be released today, 2 August 2021.

From the beginning of May 2021, we regularly collected feedback from citizens and the expert community and based on the received opinions started working on the development of a new page through which users can log in to e-Citizens. The new log-in to e-Citizens portal will introduce three changes.

When selecting a credential, i.e. a means to prove one’s digital identity, users of the system will now also be presented with logos of digital credential providers, which will speed up the process of selecting a means for electronic identification. Moreover, in cooperation with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency and Centre "Feralis", we have ensured compliance with the best practices in the area of personal data protection and modified the procedure of logging in to the system. Log-in to the system is now shorter by one step for users of e-Citizens portal and the box with automatic permissions, which is no longer necessary, has been deleted from the user profile. The terms of use of the system and privacy policy are now separate documents that can be accessed via the link at the bottom of the page gov.hr.

At the bottom of the screen, there is a log-in option for EU citizens who live in their home countries and use their national credentials for log-in to e-Citizens.
