With this public call for applications for an online course in Croatian, published once a year by the Central State Office for Croats Abroad, scholarships are awarded for the online course in Croatian called Online Croatian Language Course HiT–1, which includes 24 guided learning hours divided into 7 teaching units taught remotely during 12 weeks.

The public call for applications, published on the website of the Central State Office, stipulates the terms and criteria, the documentation required, the process of consideration of applications and selection of candidates, as well as the number of scholarships awarded per one academic year semester.

All instructions and clarifications are provided in Croatian, English and Spanish. Scholarships cover the costs of the online course in Croatian called Online Croatian Language Course HiT–1 and are awarded for the beginner level of Croatian.

The free online courses in Croatian are for A1 and A2 students and include 80 units, each 45 minutes long. The interface, instruction and support are available in English and Spanish.
 
Speaking Croatian will make it much easier for you to find a job, enrol your child in a kindergarten or school, enrol in a university, resolve your status and other important issues related to repatriation/immigration to or your everyday life in the Republic of Croatia.
