Active Employment policy incentives

Whether you are an employer, employee or a seasonal worker, you can take advantage of incentives to improve your employment or business through active employment policy measures and by combining them

The Ministry of Labour and Pension System, Family and Social Policy and the Croatian Employment Service are implementing a number of active employment policy measures with the aim of encouraging employment, additional education of workers and preservation of jobs.

The competence of the Croatian Employment Service includes seven measures of active employment policy, which can be found on the website measures.

In line with the economic situation and labour market trends, the Croatian Employment Service adopts active employment policy measures as an instrument for inclusion in the labour market of groups of unemployed persons who are disadvantaged on the labour market for a number of reasons, with special emphasis on young people, elderly, women, Croatian defenders and their family members, persons with disabilities, long-term unemployed, low-skilled and inactive persons.
 
Some active employment policy measures, such as support for employment and traineeships and self-employment, have been financially strengthened through the National recovery and Resilience Plan (NPOO) and are geared towards the green and digital transitions of the economy.
