Benefits for unemployed Croatian Homeland War veterans and their family members
Unemployed Croatian Homeland War veterans and their family members are entitled to financial benefits
Users
The right to unemployment benefit for Croatian Homeland War veterans and their family members (hereinafter: unemployment benefit), if you meet the conditions prescribed by this Act, can be exercised if you are:a) beneficiaries of family disability or financial compensation of family disability
B) children who have the status of family member of a fatally injured Croatian veteran or family member of a missing Croatian veteran from the Homeland War, regardless of whether you are beneficiaries of family disability or family disability allowance C) beneficiaries of personal disability
D) spouse or non-spouse of the deceased Croatian war disabled from the Homeland War
e) spouse or non-spouse of a deceased Croatian Homeland War veteran referred to in Article 8 of this Act who participated in the defence of the sovereignty of the Republic of Croatia for at least 100 days
F) parents of a deceased Croatian war disabled from the Homeland War who had no spouse or non-spouse at the time of death
g) the parents of the deceased Croatian Homeland War Veterans referred to in Article 8 of this Act who participated in the defence of the sovereignty of the Republic of Croatia for at least one hundred days who had no spouse or extramarital partner at the time of death; and
H) Croatian Homeland War veterans.
Conditions
If you enter one of the above categories to receive unemployment benefits, you must meet the following conditions:a) You are not employed
B) You and household members are not beneficiaries of the guaranteed minimum benefit
C) You are not beneficiaries of monetary benefits related to occupational rehabilitation or unemployment
D) You and household members are not owners of a motor vehicle that does not serve the basic needs of life
e) You and household members are not owners or co-owners or users or co-users of real estate that do not serve the basic needs of life
F) In the previous calendar year, you and household members did not earn more than the amount needed to meet basic living needs
g) You are not placed in a health care institution based on a decision of the competent authority
H) you are not charged to the state budget of the Republic of Croatia by users of accommodation or organised housing services in accordance with the provisions of social welfare regulations or other special regulations, unless you are a homeless person who is a user of accommodation services in a bed and breakfast house; and
I) you are not serving a custodial sentence, unless you lived in a common household with the persons you supported prior to the transfer to the custodial sentence, and you are obliged to maintain the same persons during the execution of the custodial sentence.
