Are electronic records (documents) obtained via electronic services in e-Citizens legally valid?

The documents generated by e-Citizens are just as valid as those in written form. Each document generated by e-Citizens contains instructions for verifying the authenticity of the document, so that the official accepting the document can perform the verification by entering the number of the record and the control number located in the electronic record.

Public administration bodies are required to accept electronic records under the National Information Infrastructure Act (OG 92/2014) and the Regulation on Organisational and Technical Standards for Connecting with the National Information Infrastructure (OG 60/2017).
