Apply for your COVID-19 vaccination!

On 1 March 2021, a system was launched, which allows citizens interested in being vaccinated to apply for vaccination against COVID-19. Apart from applying by contacting their general practitioners, citizens can also apply at or by calling the toll-free number 0800 0011

All Croatian citizens and persons with a place of permanent residence or temporary stay in Croatia may apply for vaccination on the Ministry of Health’s official webpage for applications for vaccination against COVID-19 or by calling the number 0800 0011. Their applications will be recorded in the central system of records. It is still recommended that citizens with a chronic illness first apply by contacting their general practitioners, who will confirm their health condition and determine their priority on the vaccination waiting list.

Disabled persons and persons with mobility difficulties should also apply to their general practitioners for vaccination, who will then arrange vaccination during a home visit.

After their application is received, citizens will receive an e-mail, text message or a phone call (depending on what they chose in the application) about the time and place of their vaccination.
Persons aged 65 years and over are given priority over younger persons.
Vaccination is done in general practitioners’ offices (especially for patients with a chronic illness), in county institutes of public health and at mass vaccination sites. The system will be upgraded and adjusted to suit citizens’ and health professionals' needs depending on the number of vaccination doses available.
